Membership
CSI-KGCE membership drive happens twice a year- drive 1 in odd sem & drive 2 in even sem.
The drive canvassing is done in classes by members & notifications(about start & end dates & fees) is posted on blog in advance before drive dates. Drive period spans 2 to 3 weeks & missing it once means waiting for the next to come.
CSI-KGCE goes for membership without printed copy of csi communications as its available to all members in softcopy on csi-india website and in hardcopy issue from csi-kgce library.
Note: The memberships will be done altogether in bulk only. Individual requests are not allowed before or after drive. The membership period is not same as drive period. drive period is subject to change every year but is generally a month or half month before the start of membership period.
The csi membership is open round the year as per csi-india website but for convenience csi-kgce has imposed the above mentioned restrictions. Also included in csi-kgce fees is an extra amount over CSI prescribed fees at the rate 100 Rs /year.This is collected so as to elevate the fund for technical activities at the student branch, at the discretion of the student member.
